what is with your moon and where?

hi

ive found that my situation is a bit heavy because my moon in cancer is in the 7th house (house of relationships) and my moon is conjunct to saturn (serious, doubtful, work work work)....so through relationships come my rough spots.

but i am happy to be a cancer moon. i am so sensitive, and it helps me in my work as an archaeologist. i feel the power in every ancient hawaiian bone i see and touch.

i am so so so so so sensitive to other peoples energy, needs, and feelings.

but in romantic relationships, i have so many of my own needs and feelings, that its tough for me to show up for the other like i want them to do for me. aaahhhh! im so great out to most people, an overly sensitive and crabby crustacean when in love.

im improving though. and ive heard that saturn gets "easier" for people as they get older. so my interpretation is that my romances will only get better and better.

      in all fairness my western moon is in leo, but in vedic astrology (there is a tribe called 'jyotish' if you want to know more about the differences between Western and Vedic) my moon is in cancer.
      i really super identify with my cancer moon too. emotionally driven and based. sensitive, insecure (which my Leo self hates to let on)..
      i forgot what else i was going to say. :) i'm a dreamer.
      i just joined this tribe though and immediately i feel a resonance here. there is a softness and gentle way we are, sensitive and receptive and it's a nice thing to feel.

      oh yeah. i remember: my moon is in the twelfth house with venus. making me love to indulge my senses and also i feel best when i am connected with people and love and food and sex-stuff associated with the pleasure-oriented venus.

      when we have a planet conjunct the moon we "receive" life filtered through the qualities of the conjunct planet. because the moon does not project an influence it only absorbs, the planet with the moon makes our moons very under the influence of that planet..(i learned this stuff from a Cancer man!)

          Ah, Rob, your moon is in capricorn but I'm certain you are not in the WronG tribe. Hope you feel right at home.

            yeah i didn't mean to be rude, i was kidding....i think the balance could be good for us. I've learned a lot from studying capricorn moon people. Capricorn is my sun sign but as a moon sign, i just don't "get it". There are things i admire about Cap. moons and things i kind of feel sorry for. I've known Cap. Moon people who i felt were...well, for lack of a better term, emotionally stunted. Then again, everything is relative and i'm sure i appeared emotionally "off the hook" to my Cap. Moon friend.
            ;)

            one thing i admire is the Capricorn Moon's ability to make and handle money. It's like second nature. Correct me if i'm wrong though, because some sun signs are so reckless, it doesn't matter what the moon sign is.

            btw to answer the question regarding my services, i have done many charts for people and never asked for a penny, i've done charts in exchange for goods or services, and i've done charts for people and made $100 for an extensive evaluation with a Tarot reading and regular updates. It depends on how much free time i have...and being a Capricorn the time/money continuum governs most of my existence. Generally if i don't have a lot of free time and someone wants a chart done but doesn't have any money, i will barter for anything that advances my current agenda...be it of the herbal variety or a service that ultimately saves me time or makes my life easier in some way. When i'm not ultra busy, i tend to pursue people for their natal charts as i am perpetually studying the art and science of astrology. So in simpler terms, if someone wants their chart done NOW and i have to stop what i'm working on to do it, i need some cash. If they don't have money or offer something equally valuable in trade, it may take me a while to get to it.

            not very Cancer Moony, i know. I have to watch my tendency to spread myself too thin, as i sincerely want to help everyone... so my sun sign makes sure i benefit somehow. checks & balances....and sometimes extremes.
